You suck..............:biggrin2:

Yosemite Sam 06-02-2015 07:11 PM

Good Lord man, you haven't even sold the sickle that you have on ebay yet and now you have another.

If I didn't already have a sickle mower I'd say Sam's right, you suck!

twoton 06-02-2015 07:13 PM

Love that sickle bar. Time to get the pool going! Just took ours down last week, to much work, not enough use.

Alvy 06-02-2015 07:18 PM

yes it was a myself price and I do suck....

Sam Mac 06-02-2015 08:40 PM

Lew, all busting aside, congrats on a cool deal. I envy you being in the Cub Honey Pot. Down here in SW Vir-Gin-I-A it's pretty much just old crapped out Murry's. Trying to find a deal on a nice Cub is just a fantasy. :beerchug:

darryljs 06-02-2015 08:50 PM

Nice goin' Lew. How do you find all these things? Looks like this one has a black eye.:biggrin2:

c69ss396 06-02-2015 09:09 PM

He hasn't sold the other because he won't ship. I would buy if he'd ship.
great score though...

Freight quote on flea bay is 500.00 to ship to you.UPS around 300.

c69ss396 06-02-2015 10:02 PM

Thats why I have always used fastenal, heck if it was complete and unmolested I would probably pay that for shipping.

zippy1 06-03-2015 01:04 AM

Okay Lew, now you've went and done it. I'm agreeing with Sam on this one. You suck:clap::clap:
Hackin' on yah, but really? How....never mind, just.... forget it. Congrats on yet another great find.:beerchug:

red56turbo 06-03-2015 01:44 AM

Once again Lew,
Nice find. Well equipped tractor. :beerchug:

Flingarrows 06-03-2015 08:33 AM

That sickle is cool!

105_Tom 06-03-2015 10:06 AM

Nice find, Lew. As usual. Was there a cool backstory with this one? I don't see how one would let a tractor with an attachment like that just sit around...

Berwil 06-03-2015 10:47 AM

That's really cool, nice find! :beerchug:

This came from the original owner who passed it to his grandson, looks like it had a mower at one time but that is long gone.
I see that it is an early model 122 as it has the oops pedal on it.

Zippy,this makes 5 I have but,I am not a hoarder.

DoubleO7 06-03-2015 01:01 PM

You must have a very good network of friends up there that say "hey, I know a guy that would be interested in that old Cub Cadet you have not used in years".

What ever magic you have is pretty good stuff.

Another envious Florida resident.

What do you mean by oops pedal, iv read that on here before? I understand oops.lol but what makes the pedal that? Did they use different style clutch/brake pedals?

ccarney 06-03-2015 02:01 PM

If the duct tape is removed is there still decent cushion or is it all cracked up?

ccarney 06-03-2015 02:06 PM

Sorry but what is an oops pedal?

pballard 06-03-2015 02:28 PM

Anyone got a three legged dog! Don't they go with sickle bars?

Oops pedal is an early production 122 missing the upturn on the pedal.

ccarney 06-03-2015 03:38 PM

Both of our 102's have the Oops pedals.

Sam Mac 06-03-2015 06:35 PM

Looks like you had fun. Beats a weedeater all to H--L. :beerchug:

Alvy 06-03-2015 06:41 PM

That's awesome Lew. I've never seen one of those in person. How much negative drop does one have?

darkminion_17 06-03-2015 07:14 PM

I was a little leary about getting to close to the edge.but the brochure says 135°movement.

Nice score Lew!

You do suck. :biggrin2:

Alvy 06-04-2015 06:41 PM

LP can you shed some light on the oops pedal deal? Earlier models have the upturn on the pedal so was this only with early 122s with the snafoo?

darkminion_17 06-04-2015 07:38 PM

71,102 122,when the first started makin' em.
