To be....or not to be....the Cubette???
 

Hello......so tonight my lady asked me to paint a cub pink to call her own. I've seen "Jane Deeres" that are pink, but never cubs that were pink. I know that originally, international was going to use the name cubette, but decided against it. I, personally don't think that it is right, but I try to stay open minded....you know....the worst prison in the world would be a closed mind. Well, anyway I borrowed a clip and painted it pink in my microsoft paint program just to see what one might look like before I commit to anything.......what do you think?

I saw a image some place that had a pink cub painted up looked pretty good. FYI she told you that's how she wanted unless you want her to :Explode: then :Duel: or even :Boxer: or even the dreaded :bash: if she's like mine she'll :beatdeadhorse: until you see it her way then you'll be able to :beer2: so don't make her :angry: and paint that cubby pink!

Done right that would look darn cool I think.

There is one out there in the world already.....met a guy around Christmas time....older guy, he did one for his grand daughter. He sent the picture to me...will try to find it. If it means getting another person involved in saving another cub from the scrap heap....why the heck not?

Here it is.....kinda neat? I thought it was a very nice move to try and get his grand daughter involved in the obsession!!

There is a family that pulls in the Hudson Valley region of NY with a 122 painted pink. They painted everything that was yellow Pink, and left the white stuff white. With a polished engine tin it looks very nice.

Ask yourself this: do I like the couch(don't paint) or do I like sleeping in a comfy bed(painted)?

Well, I can't just shut up and let it go at that. If it is her tractor then so be it, pink is the color! Now if you have to drive it around I would probably settle for the couch and paint it yellow!

I like the design you came up with, I also like the picture Mountain Heritage put up if it is going to be done.

You guys have the TO paint covered, but think of it this way... If you DON'T paint it, that Cub will be YOURS and the divorce may be cheaper in the long run.

Wow.....that was a lot of tug-of-war!!! She said it to me twice, but we were kind of joking. I kind of see it as shameful in a way, but fun in another......I may just play dumb, since she says I'm good at that already and see if it comes up again. I can always say, "Honey, I thought that you were joking about that." Then, take action if I need to.... but I would want to acquire another cub to do that to....not the ones that I already have....and the zero turn doesn't get painted pink no matter what!!!!! Thanks for the advice and years of experience. I may be contacting some of you that are close to me if there are any fighting words :BB&YS: and I need a place to stay and hang my underwear from your ceiling fan!!!:bigeyes:
