Getting the 169 ready for this weekends parade

1 Attachment(s)
Hey Guys,
Been getting the 169 ready for this years Christmas parade. I can't decide what to bring for behind the 169, either a #1 or #2 trailer, or a rear blade or York rake, I brought both the York rake and rear blade last year so I am leaning more towards one of the carts, what do you guys think? I know the #2 is correct for a 169 but everyone has seen those and most out here haven't seen a #1 cart.

Another shot of it.

Looks good, Nick!!:beerchug:

I would go with the #1. Then after the parade, you can drop it off in Va. :biggrin2:

They sure are expensive in most cases.

I wouldn't know as I have never seen one for sale locally. I'm hoping my patience will be rewarded one day! The #1 is really the only cart I want because I don't like messing with the tailgate.

Oh ok, that's cool, I have 2, and the most recent one I got from Lew.:biggrin2:

I like the #1, #4 is too big and heavy and is put away.

drglinski 11-28-2014 02:13 PM

I think whatever you want to pull behind the 169 will still look great.

Put the plow on the front and string the #1, #2, #3 and the #4 cart together and pull them all. After all it is a parade to show off with. WHY?, you ask, WHY NOT!, I say. :biggrin2: I'm sure whatever you pull will look great! Have a good time at the parade. :beerchug:

Looks good Nick,
Looks gooderer with my #4 cart behind it.:biggrin2:

Maybe put the # 4 you have in tow,put the #2 inside that and then put the #1 inside that, then put a blade up front.

Looks like no snow for you,got 12.5" up here.

Better idea: use a #2 or #1 and make a mini-float- scaled down stuff, etc.

Sorry to hear that you got 12+" of that white crap, we got 3" but it melted.:biggrin2:

Hook up a cart, fill it with beer and you'll be the star of the show. :beerchug:

All of my cash either goes to 1) the mrs or 2) into the cub. :biggrin2:

PS the beer isn't for you to drink, it's for you to throw at people watching!

Billy-O 11-28-2014 09:22 PM

Put the wagon under a Christmas tree and throw candy canes at people!

Could be battery operated. My wife has alot of those around the inside of the house and banisters...... :bash2: Most are on timers, too. Spending the cub funds.........:biggrin2:
