I finally aquired a nice original 124 about two weeks ago. With that, I now have the entire series of 1x4/5 Cubs. Enjoy the porn...

Nice looking fleet!!!!!!

105_Tom 11-13-2014 10:41 AM

Thanks, Steve! This is my favorite series as you can tell. I waited a long time for a nice 124 to show up, and my patience was rewarded when I came across this one. It's one of the cleanest, most unmolested Cubs I've ever had the pleasure of owning or working on. It looks right at home with its' brothers and sisters. Only thing I found to be modified on it was a replacement choke cable. It runs and drives just like it should.

That's cool Tom! My 125 is one of my favorite work tractors!

Looks good, now you need to start collecting the 1x2/3 series and I just happen to have a nice one to start you off.:biggrin2:

Very cool, Tom! :beerchug:

I am working on the 1X2/3 series myself!:biggrin2:

And so little grass!, LOL.
Congrats

Tom,
nice set of tractors.
I like the lite lineup.
All I need is 124 also.

Alvy 11-13-2014 01:41 PM

Sweet line up. I took a closer look at that 124, man that is nice, love the seat

cubcadet 11-13-2014 01:57 PM

Nice line up and 124.:beer2:

darkminion_17 11-13-2014 01:57 PM

Sold it nick.not parted.
Tom, I guess a pull start 72 would make it complete.
Nice seat like alvy says

Thanks for all of the thumbs up, guys. Having owned a little of everything over the years, I'm super picky now about what I would consider for a 'keeper'. The 48" deck is even in pretty good shape. It looks like the PO kept the gauge wheels up high enough so that it didn't put constant stress on the wheel mount brackets. You see it all to often where people set the wheels to have constant contact with the ground and it just breaks the mounts right out of the deck. The 48" deck on the 125 is another survivor as far as the wheel brackets go, soo I got lucks with two of them.

I'm still looking for a Grote light for the 72 if anybody has one in inventory. PM me if you're looking to part with one...

Me likey. They are one of my favorite style of cubs too.

very nice looking fleet. I should be acquiring 2 other cubs this weekend myself and losing 2 NON cubs.... I've had the non cubs for about 3-4 weeks now and it sure hasn't taken me long to figure out I bleed yellow/white....

Agreed. I thought I would venture out of the cub circle a few months go as I inherited an Allis Chalmers homesteader 8. Needless to say it has become yard art and more cubs have made their way to the front of the line. Wish I could trade it for another one!

Nice collection Tom. Looks like a POTW photo!:beerchug:
