Focus on only cubs and put the ones you aren't working on behind the shed where she can't see them. :biggrin2:

We'll I have my original, my simplicity 2110 puller, allis b10, panzer, simplicity 515 and #2 cart in the shed. Other then the panzer and 2110 cubs get the most attention!
My wife doesn't care to see my Cub Cadets scattered about eiither. I really can't blame her though. I do my best to keep them out of sight. Keeps my wife happy and my neighbors happy too.
Good thing is I have no neighbors. Out in the sticks surrounded by my uncle IH run farm
I guess I got it good I got a 12x12 and a 8x8 packed and stuff scattered outside my ol lady and my neighbors never complain
She doesn't complain mch just wants me to keep them kinda neatly around the shed lol. She is ready to go to Cleveland with me sat to pick up another cub so lol
I fail to see the problem. Maybe you just need a larger building say 50X100. :biggrin2:
Doesn't look bad at all! Around my shed was a lot worse then that but I do have it cleaned up now!:beerchug:

They just look like lawn ornaments to me.

Speaking as a guy who just got rid of his collection which had been stored outside for years, I encourage you to provide cover for even your parts tractors. A basic metal carport building is not expensive, and if you fab a shelf high enough to roll a CC underneath you can have good parts storage or even a second layer of tractors.... If they are not worth putting under cover are they worth having at all? I can tell you ten years outside will turn a normal lawn tractor into scrap metal, luckily we are dealing with Cub Cadets here and they will last a bit longer but the sheet metal will go away in ten years of upstate NY weather.
Outside storage just destroys paint and steel eventually. If you truly want to keep them in good shape, hide them inside. It will make the wife happy too. |
Workin on it, gonna build a lean too on side of shed with back and side walls
Tell your wife that you would like to do a 25x25 room addition on the back of the house. State that should be ample storage for your cub cadets so that you can remove them from around the shed, then wait for her reaction........or heartbeat to return to normal.:biggrin2:
