Picked up a cub cadet original in north jersey today. Came with homemade snow blower set up, non-trip plow, wheel weights and tire chains. Runs but smokes some.

That's a nice Original. The custom t-handle could be replaced with a wheel and spinner handle. Either way, before the days of the internet, the custom modification looks like it worked great. Creeper gear is nice too.

Congrats on the 3 digit.:beerchug:

 What is that? I was thinking they started at #590. What a great find.:beerchug:
|
Is that a preproduction unit?

Chris congrats on the early O. I see collared spindles but can you elaborate on the hole on the bottom right of the dash tower? I think the pre production ones had hour meters. Does it have one?
|
Thanks guys.
The test models (501-525) had the hour meters not the pre-production models. Someone just put holes in this tractors dash tower to get to the steering box. |
