I just picked up a IH Cub Cadet 1200
 

Hi I am new to the site I pick up a all original International Cub Cadet 1200 for $200 it currently does not run but don't think it will take much I had it running long enough the other day to test everything out everything seems to work good

200 bucks was a steal for that, congrats

I use the heck outta mine year round!

Nice looking cub, and definitely a good deal, love the QLs..

Be sure to check the ISO mounts, if they're bad it will destroy your clutch driver.

It looks like it has been well taken care of, so I am not surprised that you don't have to do much to get it going again. You are very lucky to make a deal like that! Glad you scored the 1200 and will be enjoying it this summer and beyond.

Thanks all this is my first Cub Cadet that I have purchased I did not know if was a good deal or not I have an old simplicity 725 that use to plow my food plot with have always been a fan of simplicity am I able to put a 3 point on the back of this

Yes you are able to. Unfortunately you will be paying close to what you paid for the entire tractor!

the money doesn't bother me I'm going to put a creeper gear in it too I'm going to mainly use the tractor to cut an acre of grass and haul a 300 Gallon water tank but would be nice to use it to plow my food plot

Update got it running runs great ended up being the condenser was bad

Must have missed this thread some how very clean 1200! And very very good deal you got on it! What year is yours? Mine is a April 79.

I do not know how would I find that out I'm guessing by the serial number

this is the serial number on the frame

Even the serial number plate looks new.
