I was hoping someone here would snatch that up. I had a hunch who it might be....Congrats on the 86! Those "thingys" on the wheels are weights, use those a while you may want to pick up another set. :biggrin2: HaHa

Lew you're killing me down here. It's bad enough you have a piece to my puzzle, not to mention two! Very nice though and cool add ons, 86s are awesome. First one even has steering wheel decal and side panels, sweet

SMH... He's done it again! Nice find on the loaded 86, Lew.
Bring some of those weights to RPSD and drag one or two around on a chain by your belt so we can easily identify you. |

I spent some time yesterday on it and went over a few things, it sat for 12 years in the garage.Removed the plug and squirted some oil down the cylinder, fixed the saftey switches, replaced the amp gauge as it was hooked up wrong when the po replaced the wire harness, new fuel line and cleaned out the old gas.Surprisingly the tank was clean.I did not clean the carb out, just wanted to see how it ran.It has a new clutch and the creeper was redone by madsens in WI.PO kept all the receipts and original manuals in a binder.
Pulled the choke out, turned the key, and it fired right up.Ran it for a while till the smoke stopped, and took it for a ride, no smoke or knocks but the brake style pto needs to be rebuilt and as the carb as it started to mark it's territory. |
Looks good lew, glad it runs good, mark it's territory I get it lol, I have dealt with madsens In wi many times, :beer2:

Is it a keeper or a flipper?:biggrin2:
|
A keeper works in a zoo.
flipper is in a aquarium. |

Lew,
Great find on a good running tractor! Your 86 fleet is growing. The thrower looks to be in real good shape! Weights and chains are good options too. Glad it runs and drives! Hang on to that one for a while. Nick, yours is very nice also! You did a great job on the restoration! Regards, Chris |

I stood up the other day for Nick, Someone told me he hijacks your thread, I told them he hijacks your thread and fills your PM box up:ROTF2: Removed the pto the other day to fix the misaligned pto finger and replace the pto pulley as it was damaged from it being run out of adjustment. The brake was dated DEC,1999. |
