have it restored by next summer.

ACecil 02-20-2010 05:26 PM

Nice 122 you have there, ljones! :beerchug:

Matt G. 02-20-2010 06:27 PM

Wild Bill-

That's looking as good or better than the 100 I restored. I hope you can find the time to finish that thing (it'd help if it quit snowing, wouldn't it?) because I can't wait to see it finished.

At least you know the paint will be good and cured by the time you get around to using it...:biggrin2.gif:

ljones 02-20-2010 07:33 PM

Thanks I just got it last weekend. I think it has some trash in the carb I know it has a
rustie gas tank it has a inline filter but it still isent geting the gas I am going to try the
muneric acid to clean the tank. It also has a bad seal on the wright axel so Im going
to have to replace that.

ljones 02-20-2010 07:49 PM

I guess I should post a few pics of my 1967 cub cadet 122. I found it at a local church for $50.00 , took it home cleaned the carburetor and have been in love with her ever since. I do have a deck for it but, had it off for my snow blade. I now have a QA36a snow thrower on it right now. This spring is clutch time and I got a deal on a creeper drive to attach as well.

ACecil 02-21-2010 12:48 AM

I agree with Matt, Bill. I also can't wait to see your 122 finished! :beerchug:

My 122

My first tractor. Although I first fell in love with the one year old 106 my dad bought MANY moons ago.

ACecil 02-22-2010 12:10 AM

Great looking 122, mrjeep81! :beerchug:

ljones 02-22-2010 10:17 PM

I seen on cc specialties that you can buy a light blue or a dark blue headlight decal
which one is correct for my 122

Now that winter is almost over. I need to get some winter pics up on here. I guess I`m just trying to hold onto summer for as long as I can.

ljones 02-23-2010 06:40 PM

How can I test to see if my starter generator is charging it starts fine but I am
not shure it is charging or it may be the voltage regulator.

Yosemite Sam 02-23-2010 07:32 PM

ljones Look here

ljones 02-23-2010 07:32 PM

So does that mean to ground it on the case or shell of the generator.

Yosemite Sam 02-23-2010 07:33 PM

Yes it does, or anywhere else on the tractor where there is a good ground. Personally I like to test mine on the bench, but that's just me.

Rhoderman 02-24-2010 11:16 PM

Wow, lots of 122's looking better than mine ever will! Good work everyone! Mine is destined to be a junk yard dog with a new heart.

Here she is before she had her heart ripped out:

I really need some warm weather. I've tried painting outside and bringing the parts in to dry. Really stinks up the shop. The self etching primer was really bad... I still have a lot of pieces to paint.

ihnick 02-24-2010 11:24 PM

them tires look nice rhoderman

ljones 03-23-2010 08:56 AM

I wish i had a worker

loghouse 03-25-2010 12:08 AM

I can't believe the deals some of you guys find. I still have to pay high dollar for most of my tractors.

Greg

Yosemite Sam 03-25-2010 01:06 AM

I'm like loghouse, I get screwed every time I think about buying a new one...
