Finally found the camera...
I finally found my camera and managed to get them uploaded to my laptop. As soon as the better half has a moment I will try and get them hosted, I knew how with XP but technology has passed me by. Windows 8 is a sick, confusing operating system. That said, I scored a 128 with creeper yesterday to add to the 1450. These things are like tequila, the first one lets all it friends in. The 128 is half a basket case but came with two decks, a blade and a spare trans. I basically paid for the extras at flea market prices for the whole load. The 128 is refurbish-able, probably be a summer project with my boys while the 1450 works. Pics to come soon.

Still have to pick up the other deck, blade and rear tomorrow, pickup only has a six foot bed. Fortunately the guy also is selling me a trailer with title for $100, it was a good day. It's ugly, it was used for sealcoating and is, well, sealcoated. Probably doesn't have a lot of rust though!

The 1450. Drove it into the garage, waiting on steering parts to reassemble.

The 128. I bought it for the value of the parts, but the gear drives are harder to find in nice shape so I really hate to part it. I'd like to be able to buy a new tractor like this, so this may turn into a full-blown restoration. I do have a couple little helpers on hand...

Just about out of room in the garage. I desperately need Spring to stop in for a visit soon so I relocate some of this stuff to the cellar.
The #2 cart came from Mike in Sewickley, really nice guy. I've found that half the fun of Cub trading around here is meeting the other addicts. |
Really nice score.

Congrats on the 1450 and the 128!:beer2:

Congrats on your cubs!

Can anyone tell me what the 441U number indicates on the deck? The rusty deck has no tag that I've found, and it has the cast iron pieces on it; I think I like the stamped deck better (it is in better shape.) I'm supposed to pick up a 50" tomorrow morning, will get numbers off that tomorrow. Do the tractor ser #s tell anything other than what year it was made? Can anyone identify the dealer sticker on the 128? It almost looks like it reads "Wampum PA" but it's just too faded to make out yet. Part of the fun of old machines is the history of them.

Hi Phil,
Great find on the 128 and it looks like you filled the garage. It was a pleasure meeting you as well. Take care, Mike |
