100 and 782 In The Snow

Had to get Dually out in the snow. The 782 couldn't have all the fun! :beerchug:

Glad you are having a good time in the snow.

I was wondering how long it would take dually to get out and play in the snow. And I know, turfs plus chains are better in snow but you CANNOT beat the tracks those Ag's leave, looks great! :beerchug:

Nice shots of the 782 and Dually in the snow Allen! :beer2:

Allen,
Cubs are looking real good in the snow!
Where are you located in NC? Cheryl's sister lives in south west NC now.
Regards,
Chris

Great to see the 100 getting to play in the snow a little :biggrin2:

Allen, glad you got a chance to play in the snow.

I have a feeling this winter is going to be a doozy. We haven't had this much cold here in Richmond for many years. It was 2 degrees this morning at the house. It's been 15 years since it's been that cold, at least. The pond is frozen over (about 2 acres) for the first time in at least 10 years. Plus, we've been getting a lot of rain this year, so it's bound to result in some significant snowfalls. February is when we normally get the most snow, I think. So standby, there is more to come!

I put the snowthrower on the 149 the other night. Never used one before, but I'm ready!

Thanks again, guys!

Thanks Chris! I'm near the Fayetteville area, it's in central NC.

Good to see that red cub on snow duty. Now, we need to find you a salt spreader for that 100 to give it a duty, too. Glad you had fun and hoping you get more chances to plow some snow. Thanks for sharing your pics Allen.

Two down, one to go. The super still down for the count? :bigthink:

We've got another 3-6 inches coming tonight into Saturday. Then more snow on Tuesday. :bash2: I'm really getting tired of the snow and cold. I'm thinking about overnighting this weather your way Allen for more snow fun. :biggrin2:

darkminion_17 01-31-2014 10:36 AM

Looking good there Allen.

ACecil 01-31-2014 11:27 AM

Appreciate it, guys!

The super is still down, Josh. Going to visit my buddy tomorrow, and take some parts for the super. :beerchug:

The Cubs look right at home in the snow Allen. I'm glad to see someone is enjoying the snow. I'm ready to be able to see the grass again.

ACecil 01-31-2014 01:51 PM

Thanks Adam! The snow is melting now.

I am new to this cub cadet thing, rebuilding 100 and like the muffler on your 100. What is it, how does it sound, do you like it, where did you get it? May be obvious but again, new to this and still learning. Thank you.
Pete

ACecil 01-31-2014 10:09 PM

Pete, it's a Farmall Cub muffler. You can get them at Tractor Supply. It sounds great, the guy that had it before had the baffles drilled out. Gives the Kohler more bark...lol!

Pswan 02-01-2014 07:42 AM

Thank you for the reply. There is a tractor supply down the street. Love the place. Will have to look at their mufflers.
