:LMAO1::biggrin2::LMAO1::biggrin2::LMAO1:

I think the same thing every time we get snow expect instead of Scotch I reach for my Rum and instead of the BX, I go for my 1050 :beerchug:

Cubby guy 01-21-2014 07:16 PM

Got plenty of those little cups for my coffee machine, food in the fridge, and gas for the snow thrower. Mrs. Cubby & I are both retired, so we don't NEED to get out for several days.

J-Mech 01-21-2014 07:36 PM

God, we really were out of milk and bread the other day when it snowed. And...... there wasn't any to be had. We went to go grocery shopping, and it just happened to land on a day before a snow. FRUSTRATING!

DoubleO7 01-21-2014 07:48 PM

We go thru the same panic buying down here for any storm (hurricane) that might possibly hit us.
Being a "military town" we always have an abundance of "storm virgins".
But at least we do not have to worry about keeping warm if and when the power or fuel goes out.

Same here.

We don't worry about bread & milk , just flour eggs & water , we will make our own bread , what we worry about is do we have enough diapers for fisher & soon to be here Emily ( due feb 19) ?

Now today i think I saw a real fool, then noticed his lic plate (Canadian) as he passed me on nj tp ; he was riding his Harley in the snow, at 4:30 pm with 4" of pack on the roads ! Just goes to show it takes all kinds !.... At first i thought it may have been Sam Mac !!!!:bigthink:

Rain stopped, sun came out warming up nicely. Pics from a couple minutes ago. Guess I'll get to play in the shop today. Don't hate me. :biggrin2:

It looks nice there Sam!

ACecil 02-05-2014 11:48 AM

Just rain here also. Supposed to clear up later.

4SPEED 02-05-2014 11:58 AM

8" here last night. Been plowing since 6:30am. Still have 2 more drives to go do. The 149 pushes snow really good. Im impressed with it.

johncub7172 02-05-2014 04:59 PM

That's a nice view, Sam! Looks nice down your way. We're getting pummeled up here next to Lake Erie, with serious snow accumulation! The 71 worked hard this morning, and I'm fixing to head out again shortly, as the tractor don't work as hard, and don't require extended amounts of time clearing the drives. I love the climate where I live, but welcome the turn into spring at any day now! :biggrin2:

Shoulda-coulda-woulda:bash2:

I also procrastinated in putting on the thrower, naw I told myself?
Won't happen next year. Going with the plow on the 127, thrower on the 109.

Now I gotta push that white crap all the way to the street & beyond. Takes me twice as long.

So far our area has a total of 58" snow this year, getting old.

NIK,

Funny video.

A little twist on I'm dreaming of a "White Christmas" I'm dreaming of a green March just like the one Al Gore promised me, with the grass growing and the flowers blowing in the warm spring breeze. Global warming my A$$. :biggrin2:

North Georgia got hammered with a huge storm that dumped a good 2 1/2" to 3" today and everything is shutdown. Now we have freezing rain:bash2:, that will keep everything shutdown until the weekend. Then it will be near 60*. It appears I have many Cubs but none dedicated for snow removal so here is my little Steiner cleaning up the drive....that was fun.:biggrin2:

Sam Mac 02-12-2014 03:28 PM

Looks good Todd. Snow just started here about 1:30. Good luck with the ice.

Cubcrazy 02-12-2014 03:42 PM

Looks like the Steiner is getting the job done Todd!:beerchug:

PaulS 02-12-2014 03:49 PM

Great pic but since it is not a Cub we will have to change your name from Oak to something like Sumac or Striped Maple. Lol

Cubby guy 02-12-2014 04:36 PM

At least it isn't poison sumac... :bigthink:
