Scoop Tote!
3 Attachment(s)
Bought this thing this weekend! The 1450 is sitting on the lift so I had to hook it up and see what it looked like. Has a rope and it trips the bucket even. Anybody ever see or hear of one of these?:bigthink:

That is way cool. Hadn't seen a 3pt hitch bucket for a cub before.
I had one similar (quite heavily built) for my Ford 2000/Cat 1, 3 pt hitch. Used it to excavate for a 20x30 foot patio about 25 years ago. Traded it about 8 years ago for a cub cadet snow blade for my 108, after I got the orange tractor. It IS tough on you neck for any extended use, but very handy. |
Cool buckets guys. My bucket is orange. :biggrin2:

SCOOP TOTE - did you get the tines with it? I got my several years ago, I did not know if was a rare item. I might have to dig it out of the snow and keep it in the shed. The tines pivot or fold forward when you back up, then they scratch the surface when you go forward.
I rarely use mine but It is really handy when I do use it. The rust on the one end of mine if from when I got it. It was leaning against a building and it was literally a foot into the ground. |
Those are cool! I want one! Must be a rare item! Like a dirt scoop, but not reversible.
Found this if anybody wants to look at original Scoop Tote sales literature. http://www.weekendfreedommachines.com/jrco/ |

I'll have to find the Scoop Tote this spring, it's currently 200 yards from my shed covered in snow.
In 2012 I changed the appearance of my campground spot with my Scoop Tote and my 1650(with a 10hp motor). The area was slanted, uneven, I added 2 rows of Railroad ties and moved rocks and dirt with the Scoop Tote to level it out. Here's some before and after pics. Other than this being on the back of the Cub Cadet, its a rather amazing attachment. I was amazed how well it worked. |
Ok, sounds good! I appreciate it!
Looks like it did a great job!:beer2: |
All of these fun toys on here....I need more now !

I don't know if it's the same brand, but i have a 3pt CAT 0 model that came with my 2072. It's handy to have but after a few hours it can put a hurting on your neck. After seeing these pics i really wish i had the ripper bar, that would make it almost twice as useful.

Cool new toy Mike:beerchug:
That one isn't just a lawn ornament, it's functional.:beer2: |

Nice attachment. I have never seen one of those before, but I have now-thanks! My friend does wood carving and wanted something to scoop up the shavings without spending a lot of $$.....I will have to show him your pictures....very handy.
Cub Cadet 123 |
I may be out of line in most eyes, I feel these are way better for moving loose material than a fel. They put all the weight on the rear end which is heavier built than the front end. If the tractor spins out while loading the bucket, simply lift up on the bucket slightly to re-gain traction. I have built two scaled down versions of a Gnuse bucket. A little neck pain is expected , but visibility of the cutting edge and bucket out weigh the little discomfort. This is my ideal way to move snow, rock, dirt, etc... www.gnusemfg.com

Prior to the project at my camper, my Scoop Tote was mainly used for Mulch at my house. I'd get a friends dump truck load, then use the Scoop Tote to haul it to where I need it.
|
cool find .... bet that will work awesome for light snow...landscaping etc... why is all those cool attachments out East!
|
Rob, I just double checked the map - you are east of me, and of course south. So one of these cool attachments is north of ya. I see they were manufactured in Minneapolis.
I found mine when I bought a Gravely with a sickle mower and a couple other attachments. I kept this Scoop Tote and the Landscape rake. Sadly the sickle mower was really rusted badly. I was also planning to keep the belly blade but the new buyer/owner made me an offer I could not refuse. |
nice, it seam I remember we had one like that as a kid, not shore if its the same but similar . if memoir serves me right we sold it to another farmer down the road so he could carrie his milk pails from the barn with, nice scoop :beer2:

Scoop tote on front of 149

I mounted this Cat 0 scoop tote on the front of my 149 using a snowblower mount, a winch and a fabricated lift arm. Works well!
