What model do I have ?
Hi,i just got my Cub Cadet tractor running after sitting up for 2 years and it has round fenders and a 10 hp engine. I know the serial number (196628) but it has a replacement-wrong hood saying 122. Can I find out what model it was originally by the serial number ? Thanks, Paul :BangPC:

A picture would really help. Could be a 71 with a 10 horse swap as well as hood swap

serial no.

Looks like a 102 by serial no.

One can not identify a Cub Cadet by a specific serial number in the early days. Cub Cadet produced charts that had serial number "ranges" and a whole bunch of models of a series were grouped into that range.
We need a picture of this tractor. :TTWWP: |

Thanks for the info. This cub works great tearing up my garden! I got the fever again, after a 2 year cool down.
