Sad Day
 

Well, my 1st Cub went to a new owner. I feel like I lost a child, but she had to go to make room for another tractor. It still sort of sucks, she was such a good old tractor. One thing is for sure, there will always be another. I smell diesel smoke in the near future.

What are you replacing the cub with?

well, i have the 71 puller still and i have another cool tractor but not a cub so i don't dare show it here. I am afraid i will get beat up.

Just because we state " only cub cadets " doesn't mean we don't think other tractors are not cool , unless their j# green! Sorry to hear of your loss , now get that 782d of your dreams!!!!!:beer2:

I feel ur pain, I let one go this summer, it's the only one I have ever let go(was not my 1st or anything like that. My buddy had a case 446 with a deck, tiller , blower and a cab. He just didn't like it. He asked if I would trade him a cub 1650 I had, with only a tiller. Well basically if I have something and he asks, it's his(plus it was a great deal for me). Well, my FIL threw me an offer , he would find a get me a 2 stage blower for my JD 400, and he just wanted a cub (as long as it wasn't Manuel lift) with a tiller. Well that's a heck of a deal for me! So I traded my buddy n got the case, I really didn't want to get rid of the cub, but I have around 15-18 ,so one is ok (Iv already picked 5 up this summer). Well I ended up giving my FIL the case, instead of having to loose another cub, and he was very happy with that, as the case is completely hydraulic, drive and lift ! So I did loose one, but I have gained 5 since the loss and 2 more tillers. Sorry about the long post!

I will one day feel your pain. While I've technically I've gotten rid of my first GT/LT, it was a John Deere so I don't really count it because I was happy to see it go :biggrin2: But if the day ever comes where I get rid of my 1330, even though it is a MTD LT, it'll still be a sad day because it's what's sparked my Cub fanaticism. So I'll toast one to you :beerchug:
