Cub Cadet 800 or Haban sickle mower tractor?
 

guys, i cant decide what to buy, the 800 with a mower deck that has supposedly all rare parts exept muffler box that cuts grass good and runs good with just a puff on smoke on startup, or the 102 with haban sickle bar mower, alot of people told me go for the one with the sickle mower, which i probably will , but i just couldnt decide. what do you think? also i am picking up a different 102 tonight hopefully:biggrin2:

I guess it depends on if you want a rare tractor or rare implement. I personally really like my sickle bar. But like I said, it depends on what you want, both are cool finds.:bigthink:

would the haban be just for looks, or to use? I love my sickle and it gets used on roadside trimming/banks a few times a year.

Nick, the more I think about it..... The 800 is probably a more rare find. I don't know how many sickle bars are out there, but it seems they come up for sale more often. Shoot, Lew has one for sale on here now! I'm going to say go for the 800!

thanks mike, i called the guy with the 800, he said its still available, he said now he isnt sure he is selling it, im like we are interested and want to come take a look, he said ok fine come take a look and well see

WELL GUYS, GREAT NEWS, I GOT THE 800, IT HAS A MOWER DECK, THE MANUALS FOR IT, NEW SEAT, NEW BATTERY, I THINK NEW PTO SWITCH, AND ALL HARD TO FIND RARE PARTS, TRACTOR WAS CLEAN TOO , WE PAID $500:beer2:

I seem to remember you asking a question about which you should buy, a Haban Sicklemo or an 800. You finally have learned to do what we all would've done and bought both!! Nick, it depends on the condition of the tractor. What shape is the 800 in?

the 800, has new battery, new genuine high back cub cadet seat, new pto switch i think , and the shape is decent, good decals, sidecovers are there, and the paint is not rusty its pretty clean

all rare parts are there, the starter is out getting repaired

Sounds like it's worth $500. :beerchug:
