Those are ATV rear tires you are running, aren't they? What brand, ply rating, etc? Looks like they do pretty good in the snow.

Nice pics... I wish that we would get some snow. Can't wait to use my 169 and plow!

fisherman1526 12-10-2009 12:06 AM

thenrie, without gettin dressed and goin and lookin, I believe they are dirt devils. I'll look tomarrow after work if I remember. I will say how impressive they are in the snow compared to a regular ag tire. It is amazing what you can push without chains.

What exactly does 30 below feel like man, its stinkin in the 30s here and I'm freezin, I think I'm gettin a bit more "mature"

Man that looks like a blast

30 below W/C is a little too chilly for me... I'm gettin old too. I would be willing to bet that 30 below setting on a Cub doesn't feel nearly as cold as 30 below while pushing a shovel.

It does look like you were having fun though.

30 below is a good time to be in the fish house

fisherman 1526......looks like a lot of fun, can't wait to put my newly acquired Q42 to work!!!

Hydro 67,

@ 30 below, you don't have to worry about sinuses........your snot is frozen to your mustache, your toes don't hurt...they've already passed the numb stage and are headed for the "what the heck, I'm already frozen" stage and you stop, look at your hands and wonder who they belong to!!!

I did see a picture once when I was looking up OCC and found a picture of a guy mowing in a cemetery and he hooked up a flex tube to his exhaust and routed it back to his feet as a foot warmer..........guess he was exhausted when he got done!!!

ihnik, put the spearhouse out last night. Not much cub time now as alot of it will be on the ice.

A little snow here 5"

I was glad to get out and play around moving the white stuff.
I didn't get a pic though.
It was fun while it lasted.

It was 12 deg. the night after it snowed with about 25 mph wind.
I was glad I didn't have to go to work.
Made me cold just thinking about it.

I wasn't in -30 deg. since I was in the Navy in the North Atlantic. It might have been a little colder than that though, now that I think about it.
We had to put into a port to chip the ice off the forward gun mounts and the break, so we wouldn't capsize. Burr!!!
Makes me cold just to think about it.
