Great lookin' vehicles guys! Here's a pic of '70 Chevelle. I've owned it for almost 19 years, and it took me 8 to get it in this condition. It was a basket case when I drove it home (with my wife 8 months pregnant with our first child!!!!)

Nice Chevelle! My father in law misses his and I've grown attached to them since he talks about the one he had often.

Several cars I've had for years that I fixed up and kept.

The '63 Corvette, I've had for awhile. I built the fuel injection engine from top/bottom that's in the car.

The Corvair is a 350 Chevy mid engine V-8 conversion. Bought it in 1982.

The silver Nova is a 396/375 SS car. I restored it about 10-12 years ago.

A couple more to follow.

Love the Mack, I learned on a 53 Autocar twin stick no power steering.

I've posted pics of my '70 F350 before. Just in case you missed it before.

This picture is from a few years ago. Northeast rust is starting to really take its toll on the body now. I have most of the parts to repair it, but lack the time and a garage to work in.
Here's a pic from last summer.

NIK,

355 (350 - .030 over) with Edelbrock RPM heads and intake, Holley 650DP, and a Crane solid lifter cam. It runs mid-13's at the track with 3.08 gears at a little over 100 mph. It's a ton of fun.

I love the Macks too! We had a '57 B-61 tandem wrecker with twin swing-out booms. Had the twin stick, but Gramps made the rear wheels lower and lift so the truck would not sit and spin the wheels in slick mud. Talk about a sweet rig, I'll have to get the pictures up one day. The t.v show Miami Vice cig boat was stolen and ended up here in n.e Ohio. We took the boat in with this wrecker.

It might be for sale in future. Interested?

Never mind. I just saw that you are a Southerner. You'd be crazy to bring a Northeast rust bucket down there.

Flatbed ...

Thats the truth but yours looks like a survivor up there .... I grew up west of you in the Finger Lakes .... they always liked that salt in the winter!

still like your truck ...

Flatbedford 05-11-2013 12:56 PM

A bruised survivor. I have to do some rust repair while there's still enough left to repair!

Geeze, I think I got the Camaro and the Yamaha out a little too soon ! I can no longer say that my 29 year old car and 28 y. o. bike have never seen snow.

johncub7172 05-13-2013 08:42 PM

Nice camaro, and bike! I'm no longer going to drive my '82 F-100 in the winters. Going to put a 5.5" lift in the front. She's still very solid, and the last of the 100 series. 80k original miles on the 300 inline 6, backed up by a Warn manual 4-speed. Nevada truck, so the inside cab is nice and roasted.
I'll have to get a pict up shortly!

Nice looking transportation gang!
