which CC Ih are the rarest?
 

I was curious which model of cub IH's are harder to find? Or rare?

IIRC,The model 73 is the rarest,as in least number made.

I thought It was 800,169,73,86,126

86 cubs and 169's are hard to find.

the order is actually

1. 800
2. 169
3. 126
4. 86
5. 73

When you get multiples of one or more of these models you really are addicted. :biggrin2:

At one point, I had one of each of the top five and even a couple multiples. Went in a different direction and they went down the road for another cub nut to enjoy. :biggrin2:

anyone know where the 72 lies on the rarity list? i think it comes just after the 73, but i'm not sure.

According to the ads I read, they are all rare if you are selling one! :beerchug:

I wasn't aware the 126 was the 3rd rarest cub cadet built. I feel better about the 126 roller I just picked up for $20. :beerchug: I guess the hot rod kohler engine I'm building will end up in that.

OK let me try to start this, I am also curious about the rest...

1. 800- 2,345
2. 169- 4,005
3. 126- 5,247
4. 73- 7,678
5. 86- 8,489
So, wouldn't this change the order of 4 & 5?

Not sure of the rank, but it shows 9,881 units built.

What is so special about the 126? I have one wth headlights and creaper

Please correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't the prototype originals be the rarest since there were only a handful or them made before the regular production ones or are you just going by the entire model line of them?

They are going by the total number of units made in the entire model line.

i had a 124 wearing 126 clothes so would that be a mutt or a cross breed?

I would assume being the 3rd lowest production number* for the model if that is the criteria being used.

*Numbers I used were noted in the book, many models didn't indicate number produced but are likely greater than those noted..... but I am just learning, so someone far more knowledgeable than me will likely chime in.

I wasn't asking rarity in the form of how many were produced but more of which ones are harder to find. Im sure there are some models that got the scrapyard more then others.
