Another good use for the 3pt
5 Attachment(s)
A spin off from the idea I got from a fellow member that attached his leafblower to the front of his Cub...
3pt allows me to lift and keep the wheels for easy moving to its resting place in the shed. Made the 3pt hook up out of 5/8 rod I had left over from the Johnny Bucket install. Only snafu I really had is that I cut the upper link connection nan bit shorter than I would have liked but it still works.. I used an eye bolt for that. 175 for the blower and maybe 10 bucks in parts...Not bad for a Friday night project... |
Neat Idea, plus its cheap.

That is pretty darn handy!

Good thing you got the mower deck on!!
Blow the leaves into a pile - Use the mower deck to spread them out! REPEAT REPEAT etc................ :biggrin2: |
Im gonna use it mostly for the driveway and grass clippings....Takes me about 30 minutes with a normal gas hand blower...Hoping this speed things up plus a bit more seat time!
Wife just shakes her head at me... : - ) |
Nice Work Leadslingingdaddy

Cool set up. :beerchug:
Don't worry Lead my wife does the same thing with me. LOL. |

Nice job, I've seen 3 point PTO run blowers, if the blower engine takes a dump. :bigthink: |
Nice job Randy!:beerchug:

Great job, Randy!

Sweet looking project and simple! Now you need something to try it out on. How do you think it would do on light snow??:biggrin2:
|
It has more than enough force to blow off light powder like snow...Got tired of walking with a hand blower for 30min to do the driveway..Of course for the small areas like flower beds I will use the portable one but this should tackle the large lift.
Gotta get some paint on it now.....Cant have something that ugly hanging off my Super! |
