Drove 275 miles round trip to get a 682 for certain and a possible yellow cub. Came back with the 682 and a 125. The 682 will be a project tractor that is in another thread and the 125 will be a fix up and sell to my uncle. The 682 is all there but most of the engine compartment is a box. It did come with a 44c deck and mule drive for it. It is a fairly basic tractor. The 125 seems to be all there its a little broken down missing a coil and the VR has fallen off. It does have a 3 point and a spring assist. It came with the 48 inch deck and mule drive. The k301 seems to been a newer engine. The data tag is worn down but the dipstick tells me its somewhat newer.

Cleaned out the carb and sediment bowl. Pored in some gas and installed a coil and she poped right off.

Way to go! Cubs are pretty rare out west. My eldest son moved to Wisc. for his first job and just for grins I checked his local CL and there was about 10 available at that time!

Nice Find MR Goffena

Good to see that you got them home safely. Now the real fun starts! :biggrin2:

Well the 125 would not move no matter what I did to it. I finally pulled the fenders and seat pan and washed the tranny and hydro off. On my way back from the car wash I stopped at Napa to get a hydro and air filters. That's when I found that the hydro filter was loose. With the new hydro filter the tractor still would not move. I finally split the tractor and drained the oil. I removed the charge pump and found the pump gear in about 10 pieces. Luckily I have a parts 125 I brought back from Portland OR last year. Installed the other hydro and the 125 came alive. I have a feeling that the PO let the filter come lose and that's what killed it.
