found this on CL. What model do you think? Looks like my 72 except for the hood decal...

Mlohss 02-22-2013 08:42 PM

Looks like a pretty rough 100 to me...

cub123 02-22-2013 09:02 PM

Yeah, I agree it looks like a 100.

TheSaturnV 02-22-2013 09:37 PM

For being stored outside it doesn't look all that rough to me. I've owned worse!

:biggrin2:

sawdustdad 02-22-2013 09:48 PM

It's missing the S/G but I agree, the paint actually looks better than you might expect.

ACecil 02-22-2013 10:17 PM

I agree, it looks like a 100.

red56turbo 02-22-2013 11:22 PM

My vote's for a 100 as well. Engine looks too big to be a 7 horsey.

zippy1 02-23-2013 12:04 AM

Yup, and it looks like someone needed to cut a hole in the top of the tunnel, for a fast fix at one time:bash2:

Yosemite Sam 02-23-2013 12:39 AM

I HATE when people cut holes in the tunnels!!!

Yeah, but that doesn't make it any better than the PO did, if you are a collector and care about the cub.

The previous owner nailed half of a gallon oil can on this tunnel, nothing my welder couldn't fix but you know there's no respect for a machine when stuff like this happens :Shame:

Personnally I love the nf's I am thinking of putting in an access cover on the 126 rebuild, you will soon see I am no purist, I love my machines but if it makes more sense I will do it...

Yup, must have needed to get at the roll pins. My 123 has a hole in the tunnel, the PO must have had a stuck valve or something. It drives me nuts when people cut holes in them... Just a personal preference I suppose.

You got to like that. Looks like you get to slice your knuckles off every time you shift.
