Fixing up my ole 1100
Started as this. Steering wheel was taken off miss matched hood, gas tank is missing. Engine runs but needs a new carb. Drives great to!

Primed hood and grill pieces. I 80 gritted the inside and out of all the panels to bare metal. Wire wheeled the rust then straightened any dents with a dolly and hammer and alil bondo after sanding bondo i 180 gritted everything for primer

This coming week i will sand the dash and clutch covers for primer! |

Update everything is ready for prime except the fiber glass dash piece. I will work on it tomorrow and sand and repair a small crack and hope to have it in the paint booth friday night! Then all my white pieces will be primed and ready for some white paint the following friday!

Looking good. I have a can of that case ih primer and there are no specs or mixing info at all, i think it says mix with case ih reducer or something like that. What did u mix yours with and to what ratio? Thanks .Dave

Frame is out to sandblast all white parts are primed and sat for a week to cure! Preping for paint now. Will spray some white in a week pics to come!

Well guys i started to paint some pieces white and it turns out i got the more creamy white ;/ so i stoped. Il have to get the less creamy white this week and spray them friday night. On the bright side my frame is back from sandblasting! Once i get my white pieces painted il do the frame

Looking real good! What white did you use first time and what did you use for your final coat? Trying to figure out what to use on my '75 1250. The underside of the hood looks like cream on mine and the inside of the wheel rims looks light almond. The outside of the white parts looks whiter but I assumed that was from weathering and oxidation.
