Got another 123!!
 

Well boys i heard about a cub that was for sale so i went to take a look at it today and long behold it was a 123! I runs great and the motor was rebuilt but it is a k241a not a k301 tho and someone must have swaped trans because the serial no is 278570. It had a 3pt at one time but some one toke it off!

I got it running yesterday and drive it around be it did not have very much power. Today after i got home from work i pulled the head and it has been bored .020 over and it had a blown head gasket. So i resurfaced the head and put on a new head gasket. It runs 10 times better now! I'm thinking that someone pulled the motor and the trans out of a 105 and put it in the 123. It had a 3pt but somone toke it off to pull the trans and never put it back on!! But they left the thiny that bolt to the lift arm tho.

We are just a bit twisted as a group, think about it how many people do you know that on a Sunday have a parts inventory and ability that allows them to replace a head gasket? I mean we collectively have more knowledge and inventory than some dealers. :biggrin2:

Yes very true!lol I have tons of Kohler parts and cub parts. What is funny i work at a Kohler dealer and i have more K series parts than they have in the parts room!

Some of you guys have more inventory that a lot of dealers put together!!!

I'll not mention any names. You know who you are!

"Twisted" is probably a good description!

Nothing like a bit of compression to spice up a Kohler!
