Donovan M. 10-04-2012 09:53 PM

looks good conner, better than mine.

IACubCadet 10-04-2012 10:01 PM

It would have been in my pickup for sure! :beerchug:

darkminion_17 10-04-2012 10:07 PM

Looks good but I'm cheap.Last one I got looked just like yours for $50 .

ACecil 10-04-2012 10:09 PM

You did real well, Conner! Nice O!

Cub Cadet 123 10-04-2012 10:53 PM

mrcubcadet,

That one is only worth about $75 and I'm coming to buy it off of you! Now, will you please release my brother?.....:bash:

Looks good Buddy....does it run and mow?

Cub Cadet 123

TSWolf 10-04-2012 11:05 PM

Definitely worth the money

mrcubcadet 10-04-2012 11:07 PM

Thanks, guys! It's rough, but, all in all...Pretty straight!

Haha...

It was said to have ran when it was put in the shed. Anything could happen...but I have a feeling that it will be running after tomorrow. :beerchug:

cubcadet 10-05-2012 07:31 AM

nice score good deal too:beerchug:

red56turbo 10-05-2012 11:41 AM

Looks good! You're lucky you got it for what you paid. Usually the dealers mark stuff up high. My local dealer would've been asking $500+. :biggrin2: Then you get the "these were built to last". Then I say, "why are you pushing those new 'throw away' mowers then?". That usually leaves 'em speechless.......:BlahBlah:

All kidding aside, I'm lucky enough to have a good dealer here locally. Congrats on adding the nice O to your stable. :beerchug:

Methos 10-05-2012 12:17 PM

I'm looking forward to taking it for a spin the next time I come on up.:beer2:

TheIHMan 10-05-2012 02:20 PM

Looks good
Thats about the right price at least for my area

drglinski 10-05-2012 03:27 PM

275 around here would be a steal. I've seen them go for more without decks in worse shape for higher.

mrcubcadet 10-05-2012 05:43 PM

Thanks, guys! It's good to hear!

EricR 10-05-2012 05:50 PM

Yep, would have been on my truck for that price also. You done good. :beerchug:

jbrewer 10-05-2012 06:36 PM

heck yeah!

I just dragged the sweeper around the yard using my O that STILL looks worse than that!

Thanks! It really isn't THAT bad..I think that it will clean up, somewhat.

Me neither...However, I have had newer mowers given to me.

jbrewer 10-06-2012 07:53 AM

How does it run Conner?

It was raining so much last night, I didn't even bother going to the shed. About ready to first, go finish up some work on a buggy/go-cart...and then will start on the Original. :beerchug:

I got the new battery cables hooked up, took the belt off of the deck so that the engine could turn over, and then jumped it off of the smoker. All the electrical seems to be working fine, and it turns over nicely, with compression.

Now, I didn't figure it to have spark, so I made the mistake of holding the spark-plug wire with some pliers, next to the spark-plug, to see for sure. Sure enough, I felt it before I saw it! Not bad for a tractor that has sat for many, many years. :beerchug:

Haven't heard it run yet, but if I try hard enough, I know I will...

darkminion_17 10-06-2012 05:36 PM

I guess everyone in the house knows it has spark too. :biggrin2: I am sure you will get it running in no time. How is the clutch.Does it work?

mrcubcadet 10-06-2012 07:30 PM

I do not know about the clutch yet, but once I get some parts, I should know.

I didn't feel a thing!:biggrin2:

red56turbo 10-07-2012 11:40 AM

Sounds like your getting closer Conner. Nothing like getting bitten by the spark. You think that is bad, hold onto a plug wire for an F-20! Those old mags sure pack a punch. No wonder my Dad wanted me to hold onto the wire back in the day to check for spark. :bash2: :biggrin2:

Donovan M. 10-07-2012 12:31 PM

Ive done the same thing with the spark plug with the 100.

stroked350 11-24-2012 05:08 PM

nice score . Definatly worth it
