There are two different wiring diagrams for the 1811 depending on the Serial Number range.

What is your chassis serial number...??

I just checked my 1811 and you are correct that the yellow, two whites and red/black go to the engine. The plug shown going to the box on the tower is correct also. I did not see the other one that you said went to the oil light though. I would have had to move too much stuff to see it clearly. It would seem that if that is the only remaining connector without a plug then it probably fits the open connector.

Wiring Diagram sent to the E-Mail address listed in your profile.

The oil pressure sender on my engine is a round push on type fitting sort of like a spark plug wire. Usually if a single wire has an eyelet it is a ground wire or goes onto something like a starter.

Here is a pic of the white wire with the eyelet It goes to the hour meter on the side with the green wire :bigthink:

There is ground that attaches to the engine housing - that may be what you're looking at.

inspectorudy 07-19-2012 04:55 PM

That's what I said only my wire is green.

if thats the case why is it theres only one wire on each side of the hour meter in the wire diagram if you look on the pic i posted there is three it dosent look like any body tamperd with it,the white wire on the back of the hour meter with green together is the white one with the eyelet.dose the oil sencer have a post with a nut on it ? this is a factory wire its crimped in the canector with the green

sounds feasible because in looking ferther into the harness i see the same thing (GREEN WIRE & WHITE WIRE GRIMPED TOGEATHER) on the headlite conector, the green wire goes to the left lite then the white wire goes to the right one for grown :bigthink:
