Didn't make it to 1650

Well I was going to see the 1650 in Charlotte today but never made it there. Instead I went to a guy down the street from my grandpa and hit the jackpot!! I got a 122 and a original complete with decks. The original is in better shape. Also a 25 gallon pull sprayer, a 32" walk behind sickle mower a 3.5 hp David Bradley cultivator (small one), a nice sleeve hitch turning plow, two cutting disc, a IH dozer blade, 4 good rear tires on rims, 3 mule drives, 2 sleeve hitch cultivators, a sleeve hitch for the original, and something else I forget. It filled up my 6x12 trailer and most of the bed of my F250. All for $550. All is in good useable shape and will only take some minor repairs to get going again, most from sitting with out use. I tried loading some picture, but I could not get them to load. I took them with my iphone and I use a Mac book computer so it maybe a problem with the apples, or the operator (most likely the operator). Anyway I was very excited and had to share. I will keep working on the picture up loads, I know y'all like pictures, if you have any ideas to help me load them please share. :beerchug:

And I thought I came across some good cub deals, well I think that score takes the cake. Congrats.

PaulS 02-20-2012 07:27 AM

Good deal indeed. Here in PA that would very seldom happen anymore. Someone that owns these older cadets think they are gold plated.

Hey Fireman, nice score!!!! Thats always nice finding something like that with all those extra goodies. BTW, I just talked with the guy that has the 1650, and turns out it doesnt have the rear PTO. With that said, I think you did very well staying up there and getting that smoking hot deal!

David with it being a hydro it shouldn't have it but I thought the ad said rear lift on it.:bigthink: Maybe I need to call him.:bigthink: I better not I don't have no more room for another one.:biggrin2:

Fireman72737 02-20-2012 02:25 PM

Thanks guys. I cant wait to get the "O" ready and put the plow on her. I stayed up late last night at the FD working on them. Looks good so far. I think the clutch is stuck on the O. Need to get it a part and clean. It had been in the shed awhile. The same guy has a fully redone A/C Big Ten he will sell to if anyone wants it. It has the rear PTO and is really nice, but wants $750 for it.

You are correct, currently the ad does say rear lift. BUT, last week the ad said rear PTO. Thats why I called him today to clarify. He said his dad described it as a rear pto when really it was just the rear lift yoke sticking out. He said his dad isnt very familiar with these old gems.

The 1864 is next for me. Then I get to work on the project rear pto after that. Well after I build the 108, sell the 122, 71 and 72 and parts just so I got room to park the cubs I've got. I'll have the 61 O, 125 FEL, 1650 and the 1864 and then I'll be out of room for any more. The rest of them have to go!

I hadn't seen the older ad on it. You need a 1650!

Well Duke, if I had your money, I would already have it but since thats not the case, Ill let someone else get it.

I really need more shed space before I buy any more. Ive got 6 sitting outside right now and 2 of them arent even mine. 15 in the sheds and again, two of them arent mine. Ive got too many!!!! Come make me a package deal. Gannon included.
