Project 108
Well my latest project got delivered this morning. It's an 108 that's needs some cleaning and some minor paint touch up. The hood is in awesome shape, no dings or dents. The PO passed away a couple of years ago and it's been sitting my buddies shop and he wanted it out of his way. The price was right and delivered to my door from 3 hr drive away for no extra cost.:beer2: I'm going to need to reline the brakes using the method in the tech section of the site, order decals and some small part painting. I'll have to clean everything before assembly. All of the loose parts are in the blue tubs and he'll make good on any missing parts.
On to the pics! THe pics are of it in my trailer so I can roll them into my garage when I start the assmebly of it. |
Congrats Duke on the new project!
Looks to be in pretty good shape!:beerchug: |
15-20 minutes of assembly and you should be riding LOL
Nice looking machine/parts. |
:biggrin2: Now that's the way to start a project. You should have a roller in a couple of hours. :beerchug:

Most of us don't get to start in on them in kit form like this! Should be a nice tractor project. Parts look very clean ans straight too. We will be watching.

Looks great Duke!:beerchug:
Any special duties for this one? |
Good project just assemble and go.You did get the nuts and bolts to it?
If you are using the motor out of the 100 you will have to use the correct blower housing for wide frame as the coil mounts higher up on the housing to clear the frame. :beerchug: |

Good thing you told me about the blower housing or I would have found out the hard way again.:bash2: I'll swap them once I get the motor from the 108. He forgot it but he's bringing it with him on the next trip. |

I've got to go digging thru my tires and find some good rears for it. I think I've got a good pair of turfs for it. |
Looks like the hard work is done for you.

didn't see this when it got started but as in the thread i started the 10hp is in my garage to clean up and put into the 108. It is finally a roller still need to find some good tires that hold air or tube these haven't made up our minds yet i don't think. After getting everything cleaned up the previous owner had gotten alot painted but not everything and the most disappointing part was half of the white was painted and looks great but the other half like the hood and tower isn't and may have to repaint all the white to get it to match well. here is a current pic of its status. and here is the engine that needs cleaning :) any tips appreciated. oh and it got a new wiring harness added to the pile just the other day too!!!

Looking good!
