Looks good. I have a 59M also and I have the style as you do(there is two styles). If you go to http://www.cubcadet.com/webapp/wcs/s...A/040086350001 that well give you the parts breakdown. The main difference between the older and newer style is the idler belt tensioner and I've read the hopper was built stronger in the newer style. These were manufactured for IH by MacKissic, Inc.
Ph 610-495-7181/800-348-1117 and I contacted them a few months back because I purchased mine without screens and was looking for a source. (if you want a homemade version you can modify a screen from a hammermill) but they do still offer the screens and some parts. This was from (very helpfull might I add) {Steve Matson Sales Manager MacKissic, Inc. Ph 610-495-7181/800-348-1117 We offer 1/4", 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1-1/2" x 3" oval slot, 1-3/8" x 7-1/8" bar screen. All screens $89 each, except welded bar screen, $129. Just call and ask for parts.} Of course the prices may have changed since he quoted me but thought I'd pass on the info to everyone who has a shredder |

Looks good, I was looking at one a few months ago on craigslist but the guy also wanted $450 - I couldn't justify it. Possibly the same one haha. Let us know how it works, that was my big question.

hello all
today i took out the bearings for the hammers out and wanted to show how they come out because people do get frustrated with this heck i did. first pic is with the bearing installed in the flange http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/101_0430.jpg next is to remove the locking coller like your older pto's i used channel lockes on one side and vice grips on the other and just twist to loosen (((remember to even get this far the shredder has to be fully disassembled just to get to the flange))) http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/101_0431.jpg next is to lightly tap the bearing on one side do not hit the flange you just want the bearing to twist http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/101_0432.jpg http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/101_0433.jpg now you can twist the bearing to the recesses in the flange and just pull it out http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/101_0434.jpg remember the bearing is oval and so is the flange its hade to see in the last pic http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/101_0435.jpg |
hello all here is a update on the shredder but I need some help with decals
any one know where to get decals for this? the INTERNATIONAL logo is 14" long and 7/8" high from letter to letter but any way i know you all like pic's so here we go http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/101_0492.jpg http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/101_0491.jpg http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/101_0479.jpg http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/101_0476.jpg http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/101_0487.jpg http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/101_0482.jpg http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/101_0481.jpg http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/101_0488.jpg http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/101_0483.jpg I will work on the hopper soon and then post a picture or it when it is complete but as you can see just to be on the safe side I replaced all the bearings and pulleys. The pulleys are now cast iron insetd of stamped steel/aluminum. I just had to start the tractor to se it work and boy my neighbor was impressed |

I will post a video when i can get some help with the camera for all of you. I just cant wait to show it to one of neighbor who dreams green :biggrin2: but i did show it to a wheelhorse fan (another neighbor) and he said he could not believe how quiet it ran. I tryed it out on some 3/4" old tree limbs (NOT GREEN LIMBS) and it chewed it right up. sorry im :BlahBlah: on so here are the pic's

59m manual
1 Attachment(s)
I tried attatching a pdf of the manual-wouldn't go through. Here is a link to that and lots of other manuals-very good stuff. http://ccmanuals.info/pdf/ Note though its the newer style unlike yours and mine but good info though that relates. When I get mine out of storage I well measure and take pics for you of the decal but I believe this is it from the manual.
