I haven't seen a thread on this yet and I'm not sure if this is the right place for it. This is this years snow removal team. Both have the hydro. lifts. :beerchug:
They are calling for up to 2" tonight here in N.E. Indiana. I would like to see everyone else's snow removal team and in action. Post 'em!

Since I don't have a blower or blade yet, here's my snow removal system...

wj-ihc 11-29-2011 03:53 PM

I'm still in the free agency stage of building my team. Need to determine which tractor will get drafted to serve on the QA42 and which will get the snow blade!

What part of Indiana are you from? I think I have a blade I could hook you up with. (of coarse there may be a small fee):biggrin2:

Make a post in our Wanted section, there might be someone here with one they would like to get rid of. :beerchug:

dont act like you dont get a dusting ,my buddy lives in camden SC & gets alittle ....i'll see what shipping is from buffalo ny to NC on truck load & have it dumped in your driveway :HeeHee::HeeHee:

jpackard56 12-01-2011 08:32 AM

shipping snow to Carolinas...

I once dead-headed a stake sided trailer from Ashtabula, OH to Charleston SC. It still had over 18" in the bed, folks down there took pictures. The guys at the loading dock ended up in a vigorous snow ball fight, shoveling off the deck, which was a new experience for them:biggrin2:

IAfarmer 12-01-2011 09:06 AM

I really like that color combination on your plow. It really sets off the look of the tractor!

Ridgerunner97 12-01-2011 09:07 AM

I have a '67 123 with the snow blade. I don't have any pictures of me using it yet but I got it off my buddy who used it exclusively to plow his driveway. I only paid $300 for it which I think was a good deal since the mower deck is basically fully restored :biggrin2:

(Doggone it why can't I paste the pics in like I can on other Vbulletin powered forums...)

I do have another 102 with a blade on the front but after deer season we have to rebuild the carb as it won't run so will get pic's of it later.

ACecil 12-04-2011 08:59 PM

Great looking snow team, Eric! :beerchug:

_DX3_ 12-04-2011 09:37 PM

Eric, do you have much problems with those snow blowers and the gravel? I've got a gravel drive but wasn't sure how good they would do on one. Would love to get one for my 982D.

DWayne, this is the first year for the 2086 and this set up but my Dad's 2084 has been doing the snow chores the past 8 years or so, and we have the blower set up about a inch and a half up and every once in a while it will pick up stones but there is NO snow to deep for these buggers LOL.

And as you can see from his driveway, the gravel is still in place.

_DX3_ 12-04-2011 10:05 PM

Thanks for the reply. Now you have me :bigthink:

EricR 12-04-2011 10:17 PM

DWayne, the big question is (not to get to far off topic here) do you get enough snow down there to justify buying a blower?

_DX3_ 12-04-2011 10:23 PM

Nope, but what the heck... :biggrin2: maybe in the next 10 or 20 years we'll get one good snow and make it worth it... LOL
