OK, look what the cat dragged in....

Got my first Cub 3 weeks ago, my second today. I have to say I need to get more discriminating, but the Originals have caught my eye. Dunno if this is saveable, but I suppose as long as there's no rod thru the side of the case it probably is.
Someone save me.... John |
Those pesky cats will drag any ole thing in won't they? LOL.
I think that one is a keeper. Oh there is no saving you, you officially have Yellow Fever, ermmm ok may not quite be yellow but still got the fever, :biggrin2: |
All it needs is a frunt tar and a few stitches in the seat.:biggrin2:
Nice find!! Everybody wants one in red!! Do the flames on the hood make it go faster?? |
Yeah, but what about those twin Hella driving lights (seriously!) :-) I think they'll be the first thing to go.... :-)

Nice Cub jbrewer

Nice score on the O! A bit dirty but worth the save! :beerchug: I have to say i like the paint job but not the lights. Also liking the INTERNATIONAL script emblem, from an IH semi, on the hood too :beerchug:

The lights...
....are gone.
Strangely...they ARE expensive German Hella driving lights. I guess that's so the PO didn't overdrive his lights with that brutishly powerful 7HP Kohler! The paint job is pretty cool. I didn't know that script came from a truck... sadly there's only one of them (not present on the other side). The PO was telling me how rare those are to find on cubs, and I'm thinking..."yeah, especially since they were never shipped with them!" |
Got some time today....

Got some time to clean the O up a bit...there's actually a tractor under all the moss and grease.
Still has the orig. carb and oil bath cleaner, and everything seems to be there. It had one of those "anti-foul" spark plug extensions, so I'm sure it's well worn, but it should be an interesting project. I found some tires I bought for my lawn cart that although not correct, at least were round, so I could roll the thing around! I'll replace them with something more suitable eventually. |
Not a bad O at all! Have fun with it. :beerchug:
|
Good updates! I hate it when the PO paints over the yellow and the red paint flakes off!
|
I think they just primed it preparing for a proper yellow paint job!!
We are just not giving the PO enough good credit.:biggrin2::biggrin2: |
