1811 Blade lift arm and rod

Ended up finding a blade for free from a neighbor, however It does not have the lift arm or rod. Going to order what I need on Cub Cadet Warehouse but I want to make sure I am getting the right thing. Will the following work? I have a 1811.

NEW LIFT ROD IH 548589 R1 28 inch 1-2 inch
SNOW DIRT BLADE WIDE FRAME 1968 AND UP SERIAL # 400,001 - 665,000
APPROX. 28inch LONG

USED SNOW DIRT BLADE LIFT ARM IH 473925 R1 759-3105
42 & 54 inch BLADE SERIAL # 400000 - BELOW

Thanks in advance for the help.

You could make your own lift rod.

That's a sharp 100! I bolted my sub frame to the mule drive, just like the owner of the 100 did! :beerchug:

Or you could use some cable, like I ended up doing for my QA42A snowthrower.....

Just 6' of 840 lb cable, with two clamps...works on NF and WF tractors......and I have less than $5 in it. :beerchug:

I thought about trying this... does it work with just the weight of the blade or does a stiff rod help hold the blade down ??

The blade is heavy enough that it will stay on the ground, but you won’t have down pressure to dig. It will work fine on snow or loose dirt/gravel.
