What's a matching Rattlecan for IH yellow?

I blasted the engine for the 124 on the bench after points, and head gasket, valve lap job.
It was a quickie to repair an issue....used JD yellow. Looks like crap.
Anyone know a spraybomb enamel that matches ?
I just need to hit it again, and get it back in.

This should help you out.... Paint

Look for safety yellow or a bright yellow, I remember finding something in the Krylon or rustoleum line that was a better match than JD yellow. Ya know that nothing will match completely right unless it is the specific CC formula, and a light colored primer will help a lot getting it uniform and bright.

I have a site for the paint but will have to wait to get home to post the link.

This is what I will be ordering in a couple of weeks. My engine is ready for paint.

Thanks all. It's a done deal, between my morning fishing routine, and easter with the inlaws I didn't have time to travel, so Home Depot it was, and yellow rustoleum did the trick.
I put two wet coats over the JD color, and it looks good. The JD color might have taken alittle of the brightness out of what I used because it matches the 44 year old paint on the crossmember under the engine.
I assume it has turned a bit orange from the age, but it's glossy, so how off can it be from new...
Either way, it's done, and the engine goes back tomorrow.
I used Matt's trick to do the timing, and it seems to put it in a different position from using the factory manual technique.
I started it up on the bench, and it started after 2 revolutions, so it must be right.

I would love to see some pics of the paint job next to the aged color if possible. The yellow on my 128 has definitely aged and that might work better since I am not doing a complete paint job. Would rather it match with the aged paint. If you did the timing per Matt's instructions it will be correct. Factory setting is just to get you in the ball park so it will start. :beerchug:

well, I can't find the cable to download photos, but it doesn't really matter...now that it's dry it doesn't look as orange as I thought.
It actually looks identical to the background yellow for this page.
Is this what the original color was?

Has anybody used this paint from Farmallparts.com? It appears to be heavy duty stuff formulated for farm equipment. How is it as a match for our older Cubs?
