126 Grill Screen
 

How does the grill screen on a 126 attach to the front housing?

There are grill springs that come from the back side and hook of spring holds on to expanded metal. Springs go through tabs that are made on grill housing

Grill screen springs.....definitely grill screen springs. K-mart.....grill screen springs from K-mart. Definitely, definitely grill screen spring from K-mart....

Thank you...it just so happens the PO provided those springs in the box of spare parts....I just couldnt figure out what they were for.

Be sure to twist them at 90 degrees and make sure they hook onto the screen so that you don't lose them, as they are hard to find in the grass (ask me how I know :biggrin2:).

I was waiting to see if anyone was going to comment but guess not. Pretty funny and actually you wouldnt believe how close the connection is...,
