Has an M18 engine, and I added power steering from a later model super with tilt steering. Converting the steering was an interesting exercise in fabrication to make it work.

Got a 60" deck and Haban snow blower to put it to work for the next 25 years or so.

... and the rest of the crew; 169, 782, stepsister-6018, i1046, and 147.

Welcome to OCC! You and your dad, did an excellent job on the 1912!

Do you need a copy of the service manual for the engine?

ken6x6 12-06-2013 06:24 PM

Hello from Indiana.

I just bought a 2072 yesterday. It came with a 60 Haban mowing deck and a brinly plow. It has about 800 hours and was well taken care of. I spent today straightening the control rods under the center cover. Apparently, the rag joint gave out and the drive shaft bent all the rods so they were all out of adjustment.

Thanks, all. I took it out for a spin on the farm today. I figured I wouldn't get very far with unfilled turf tires in the snow, but didn't have any problems.

The ladies were really diggin it!

Nice cub, you have there!

1811woody 01-01-2014 05:32 PM

10"- 12" I'll take some of that so I can get some more seat time. We're only supposed to get 2"-4" that wont take long to clear.
By the way that's a nice looking cub, I like the front bumper also is that home made?

Wilbraham, east of Springfield. I'm looking for a used plow (42" 190302) on CL but no luck so far. Dealer wants $699 NOS. Would anything else fit? Do you think the Hydro Gear can take it?

I think that bumper is the same one I have on my 1864, except yellow. It was a dealer option for the cyclops. 190398 is the part number in my sales brochure.

1811woody:

It's was a dealer option beginning in 1995, I bought it used from a guy in Indiana. Little emory cloth and steel wool, primer and paint. I went with yellow because all the metal (except the front axle) on the tractor is yellow.

ACecil:

Thanks! What's up with the 1872?

Look for a plow from something like a 782, you may need to do a little work on the mount to drop it because the Cyclops frames sit about 2" higher but it's no big deal.
I had a hydro gear from a 1440 in my 1210 and plowed the driveway from H--L when I lived in CT never had a problem.
I had a Corvette racer friend in Wilbraham. Kim Baker, haven't talked to him in years.

This one was given to me. Didn't get time before the snow flew to work on it
so it's tarped up and covered with snow until spring. The motor doe's roll over so that is a big plus.
