Thanks for the update, almost makes me want to find another Cyclops to wrench on :beerchug:

Replaced the tank bushings and replaced the fuel lines today. Tank is back in place, shut off valves have been cleaned. Brakes are back on. Pretty much just little stuff. No pics today. Still dry under it so I guess the oil leaks are fixed. :beerchug:

Pulled the engine and radiator today. Drain valve on the side of the block was plugged solid. Tip for you guys with Kubota power, if you have the engine out for any reason remove the drain valve and clean it out. I will be relocating the valve so that it will actually drain, they way it was even if it wasn't plugged it couldn't be turned to open it up, very poor design. Radiator will be going to a radiator shop to be cleaned out, new hoses and belts and a set of gauges. Also need to clean and repack the CV joint for the steering while I can get to it. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow.

Got the radiator back today and got started on the gauge install. Screwed up and used the wrong size hole saw on the center hole so I had to use the crappy little gauge panel that comes with the gauges to make it work. :bash2:

Oh well this one is going to be a worker anyway. Also got a start on the wiring. I need to draw a diagram before I go much further. Picked up a couple fittings from the local hydraulic shop for the oil pressure gauge and the drain at the bottom of the block. Here are a few pics. You'll notice that the frame has been painted over the rust. Gonna have to wire wheel it and pop it with some converter or rusty metal primer then some yellow. Seems like a common problem from battery leakage on the Kubota Cyclops.

Got a little more done today. Finished the drain in the block, drilled the thermostat housing for the gauge, installed a tee for the oil pressure gauge. Since I have the engine out I also cut the mounting plate for the starter to make it easier to remove when it's in the tractor. As they come from the factory they are a major PITA. I'll get a pic of the mod later. Relocated the fuel pump from under the fender pan to the engine mounting frame like it is on the diesels. Put some primer on the frame in the front where it was nasty. Hope to squirt some yellow on it tomorrow if the weather cooperates. Should have the new hoses and the fan belt late next week from the Bota dealer, then the engine can go back in. Now it's cocktail hour. Later kids.:biggrin2::beerchug:
