Got a piece of chrome-moly to make a new idler pivot shaft for the mule. And yup, I free handed it. :beerchug:

I pulled the old fuel pump from the 1711. Ordered some parts, and will be waiting for those.

After years of wanting to, I finally had the right stuff to try out plowing. Special thanks to Jeff in Pa for building the sleeve hitch and all the members that help me with my cub questions. I spent 3 hours messing with the Brinly to get it set and only got it to go in when tipped way down. We have an old simplicity plow that's sat as yard art for years so figured I would give it a try. Scoured it up with a flap disk and put some shims in the pen. I was amazing the first pass with it went better than the final pass to the Brinly.

The addiction continues

A year and a half ago I needed a garden tractor for a small wooded property that I have I bought in 1864 by accident. It came with a mower deck snowblower and Sims cab

The tractor really impressed me and I found another one for sale locally so that made number two now the addiction has begun.

After enjoying those two tractors I realized I really like the looks of the red Cobb cadet, today I found a 782. It came with an extra motor and most of the pieces needed for the deck. I do not think the deck will ever get mounted onto this tractor again.

Last week when I was mowing with my 129, one of the tie rod ends came apart. Tonight I replaced it with a good used one I had. All ready to cut grass tomorrow!

In the last week or so, flushed fuel tank, installed new fuel shut off, fuel line, fuel filter, and had new carb kit installed. Now need a good wash . It has set outside for over two years, that I've had it. Starts and runs great.

I pulled the blown KT17 Series II out of my 1711 and got it ready to receive the donor CH18S.
