First of all that thing is awesome! Have you a model # for the pump? Also pulley dimensions or bracket drawings? Thankshttp://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/images/smilies/beerchug.gif

Thanks!

I don't have a number for the pump. It came off of an early '70s Chevelle, but I'm pretty sure GM used the same Saginaw pumps for several years, the only difference being pulleys and the later ones had a slightly different reservoir.

I have no drawings, as I designed it on-the-fly. I believe the pulley sizes are 3",2",&6". Both belts are 3/8"x20".

I am new. But this is quite an impressive project. And the details are excellent. I am considering a similar project on my CC122. Thanks so much for documenting this build.

Awsome Creation Adam.. how is it holding up two years later?

As I'm reading thru this way old post, I was saying "hey, my '89 volvo 200 has a pump with external reservoir. Read further and I see your post funny.
Also thinking that you could mount PS pump the correct side if you made a tensioner such that the belt runs on the outside of the pulley not around it. I know, 8 years too late.

Good luck with your project.

Quick question, regarding double acting hydraulic cylinder (from your post on page 2 of this thread): what is the length of hydraulic cylinder on your 100. In the the posting, I believe that you mention 1.5" bore with 7" stroke. But, not overall length. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe the lift cylinder is 1-1/4” bore x 5” stroke. I’ll try to measure it this weekend. The cylinder on my front blade is 1-1/2” x 7”.

That was a cool, well executed project! I love "home made" that looks professional and yours certainly does. Great job!

Some of the vane type power steering pumps can be flipped to change rotation, but your mounting system is very functional and not sure you'd see any advantage.

Congrats and it must feel good when you're using it still.

Thanks for the quick response. I am mostly working on the power angle hydraulic cylinder sizing. I am trying to mimic your build with my own twists on it.

As a result, it would be extra helpful if you could provide the length of the power angle hydraulic cylinder (open or closed). This would be immensely helpful.

One other request, do you have a good pic of the mounting point and bracket attached to the plow base. IOW, in your thread I found a really good pic of the hydraulic cylinder attachment to the plow. But I was unable to find a really good pic of the power angle hydraulic cylinder attached to the plow frame base.

Many thanks in advance.
