I had a couple bearings so I decided to make some new rockshaft pivot plates with the bearings in them. They may not make much difference, but they will reduce friction and wear on the rockshaft.

Wow Adam,

Those are some nice looking parts! Neat idea, I'm sure it will make a difference in the way the lift lever feels!

Thanks Jay. Since I have hydraulic lift I no longer have a lift handle. The reduced friction should slightly increase the lift capacity.

I enjoy seeing quality made parts! Even though you won't be able to feel the difference you will know that they are there and that you made them! Guarantee that you won't ever wear them out either!!:beerchug:

Plus I'm sure you had fun making them! :beerchug:

Today, I sandblasted the grill mesh so that I can weld up a few broken spots.

Weatherman is calling for mid 70s temps next week so I hope to get most of the remaining parts in primer.

Nice idea on the bearings.
Maybe if I start making things for myself, machining would be fun again

Very nice work Adam.:beerchug:

Thanks guys!

Today, I spent a couple hours cleaning up small parts in the blast cabinet.

Will you have to notch the frame to put the 14HP in? Check out Kirk's engine rebuild on his web site - some neat stuff there. Can't wait to see the finished project.

Engine is a 12hp, not 14hp.
