Thanks!, this is my first season with this machine and it has not seen snow before just been a grass mower. Put the 451 on, chains, 75lb wheel weights, loaded the tires and added the weight bar on the rear, it's been a dream!!

Hopefully, I'll be plowing some snow for the first time with the 782! :beerchug:

Still no snow Allen? bummer! Perhaps people traveling for plow days should also get an event for snow plow days :bigthink: My driveway is open for such an event LOL

We got 3" overnight. Pics of the fun soon!

I bought a new battery (26R-3) for my 1863. The old one was getting weak last summer but I wanted to wait till spring to buy a new one. But, at the point where it wouldn't crank after being on the charger for a day I went to Walmart, had them check the battery (dead cell) and bought a new one. I've had the deck in the garage since fall when I sharpened the blades and greased everything but would like to get it back on the tractor and out of the way.

It didn't all happen today, but I adjusted the safety so the 169 would turn over. Then thanks to the information on this site and Matt G I tore the carb apart and replaced the head gasket after it blew. Wired the lights up too, but I need a new bulb. Oh and changed the oil and air filter. Now it's running like a top.
