Nice rides guys! Here's a pic of my 2010 Streetglide. Screaming Eagle tuner, heavy breather and a Vance and Hines two into one. Been all over the southeast with her. My favorite trip was getting to ride it to the "Kings" house. TCB.

Sweet looking Glide! Black Denim paint?
|
Yeah...... It looks sweet but is a total pain to clean. You have to use special cleaners nothing with any silicone or it will lose the matte finish. The manual and dealership says your not even supposed to clean it with water! The dumbest thing iv ever heard. So I asked them "What about those of us that actually ride and get our bikes dirty"! He just shrugged and that was it. I put on average 8 to 10K a year since i bought it. Iv also heard of people using Dawn dish soap. Also even some of :BlahBlah: the dealerships don't use the HD cleaners they use Windex. But all in all I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything.:BlahBlah:

I have the Black Denim on my Night Rod. I love it, I just wash it with dish detergent and then I use an electric leaf blower to dry it. Easy, easy, easy. :beerchug:

What detergent? Yeah I bit the bullet and bought an Air Shammy.

Most of the time I use Dawn but I've used Joy or what ever the wife has under the sink. Never had any problems. |
Thanks for the info Sam, I will have to try it if we can ever get out of these sub zero temps and back to normal. Does it streak or does it rinse real easy?
|

It rinses off no problem and no streaks. Bike looks like it just came out of the factory. Washing my Road Glide is a PITA, wish it was Black Denim. I spend more time making it look good than riding it. Think I'm going to off it this spring. |
Thats crazy! Im gonna have to try it, thanks for the tip.
