Ahh the exhaust itself. Yes that for quietlines and 169s

the other thread on here about the 169, or at least the engine thats in the pic: i opened the intake runner up to match venturi size, (on the 30mm carb) if you check its almost an .125" smaller...or at least mine was..and yes polished it out nicely...3 angle valve grind, with bronze inserts... had the seats worked over, knocked the head down .020", (i was worried about it getting too hot with the new ign) i also have the style c piston and new rod, we bored the rod and cap offset for the continental bearing and it pokes out about .04-6" or so..then i put in a cast gov gear and cast oil pan... i didnt mess with the cam though...

Engine looks sparkily clean.

They are always supposed to be clean. Even my 127 which gets used atleast once a week is nice and clean. A clean machine is a happy machine :biggrin2:
