Thanks guys!
This weekend I got the 1200 home (Thanks Joe!)...and started working on it. Replaced the clutch disc, got the solid ISO mounts installed, and dropped the 16 HP in. Decided to wait and try the stock clutch spring for now. :beerchug: Here's some current pictures, may try to fire her up later this evening. |
Looking good, Conner! Thanks for the pics.

I would strongly suggest adding the crossbrace between the rails; it is probably even more important on a gear drive because if the engine becomes misaligned, that very expensive clutch driver will get torn up in a hurry.

Looks great Conner!

Might just do that when/if I take it back apart to replace the clutch spring. I used a regular NF-WF 3 pin driver...so there wouldn't be a terrible loss. :beerchug: |
A NF clutch driver may not work...the engine is going to move around a bit in the mounts (even after the crossbrace is installed), and the correct clutch driver is flexible and has a spherical ball bushing to account for this. The NF one does not, so it may bind, wear out the pilot bushing prematurely, or break the driver itself or the clutch disc.
