Awesome pics Chris! You really hooked us up on the pic updates! Your painted parts look so nice! How do you like the paint remover? How long does it take to remove the paint?

Wasn't sure how many pictures I could post at a time so there will be multiple posts here:)
Hope this helps you on one of your CUB projects! I sure have learned a lot about narrow frames! At this point I think I am about 60% complete. Regards, Chris |
Yes we have more shots of the 147R

I am getting a cramp in the mouse hand:)
Hard work loading resizing and loading these! Here you can start to see that I am turning the corners as some new paint gets applied here and there. BTW Rustolem Sunrise Red cans have a problem They will spray 10% in the correct position and then have to spray the remaining portion in the inverted position. Not kidding! Regards, Chris Enjoy! |

Methos, Paint stripper works good. Was it you that gave me that tip? It was a good one! More shots. Regards, Chris |

This will be it unless I can pry some off the camera today!
Hope things are good in Cub Land! That picture with the ags from the back was the "look" I was after! Thanks guys for the push! Anyone notice that I drilled the two center holes wrong in the new trunk base? Woops! Not changing it now! Its welded in place! Next owner can yell about the work of the "PO" :) Regards, Chris |
Very nice, Chris! Can't wait to see your 147 finished! :beerchug:

Looks great! Can't wait to see it when it's all done! Great job!

Looking good! Don't forget to clean the paint off of the aluminum part of the hydro pump...
|
Matt,
I did not think about that. I assume the paint might restrict the heat dissipation from the hydro unit? That may be a challenge to remove the paint at this point? I will take a look at it. I may be able to get some removed with the seat pan off. Thanks Guys for the comments. Yes I know its not yellow and it will be far from perfect. Maybe a good 20 footer:) But hopefully will make a good reliable tractor to use around the yard. And have some fun with too. Thanks Chris |
