Well some bad new the Governor gear is shot. Adjusted to the way the kohler repair manual wants and it just wants to take off i just cut the ignition and closed the throttle by hand. I picked up a 551 blower today so now i am kinda committed to this machine.

Yes sir i even adjusted to three time to make sure i didn't mess up i printed the page and kept re reading it. If i feel the gov lever when it starts it doesn't even attempt to pull the throttle close it just goes WOT and stays even it the throttle is the idle position. I'm gonna pull the back plate off tomorrow and inspect the gear. |

Turns out i am a dummy and adjusted the Governor wrong i re adjusted and all is well thankfully. I finished making my tractor look whole and installing led lights.

I need to replace the PTO and my tractor has the older style, Can i upgrade to the newer style as they are cheaper?
