Look good there Queen of the Quitelines!, I had to put on my cheap sunglasses as to not damage my eyes from her Highness's parts shininess.

Made a little more progress on this project. Replaced the bearing and seal and cleaned mating surfaces with a Roloc bristle disk. I always clean up the threads with a tap. Takes time but I have no problems with sticky bolts...especially important if they are to be torqued! I wash it with the brake clean stuff and wipe clean. Same procedure for the back end.

Repaired trunnion with the little weld on plate fro JeffinPa. Smoothed the weld to make pretty. It will receive a good bath and be resealed and painted. The automatic relief valves blow oil like a geyser...so they will be off to Mach Tech for rebuilding.

All of my hydro Cubs have or had leaking cork gaskets...this one was no exception. I removed the gasket remnants, ran a tap into the mounting holes and cleaned. Installed new gasket and installed pump.

Looking good so far.
