Jonathan, sounds like you are really being tested!
You might already be using them, if not... The Shark Bite/Gator Bite plumbing fittings are GREAT for making short work of plumbing repairs. Just make sure that pipe ends are properly seated in the fittings. Sorry again to hear about the troubles. Hope that we all get thawed out by this weekend. Steven |

Thanks guys.
Got the water back on in the house. Just capped off the utility room till I can get the washer and dryer out and cut that wall open. Thanks Sam! I've never used those before. This old house has a mix of steel/iron pipe, CPVC, copper..... fun fun. The part that busted was CPVC. I'd like to pull it all out of the wall and run Pex. It won't bust when it freezes! :biggrin2: The weather here is fun now. Just under freezing during the day, so the snow is melting..... kind of. It has been misting rain, snow, freezing rain all day and supposed to keep that up for a few more days. Now all the snow we couldn't get underneath when blowing/plowing is turning to slush, and people want it plowed off. Probably switch over to the blade now and keep workin! Got more work lined up here at the shop. As I sit here now, feel like things are looking up! :beerchug: |
Thanks for the update Jonathan. Glad to hear things are turning around!

Thought I'd throw up a vid of the QA working. I still don't have the right pulley on the thrower, and the snow I'm moving in the vid is melting and very wet. But, overall, I think it does ok. Not as good as the 450, but works. Doesn't take near the power to run the QA as it does the 450! Sorry about the quality of the vid, it was taken with a phone. :biggrin2: I'll try and use a better camera next time. :beerchug:
