That fits in there nicely! Flare the hood out a little bit. I think it looks better then cutting a good looking hood.:TwoCents:

Exhaust
I got the exhaust built tonight. Started with a 2-1 pipe off of a harley bagger, then took a harley bagger slip on and cut off the inlet and welded it to the cut off muffler from the 2-1. Then welded up a elbow and gusset on the flange I made. Muffler loosely installed in the photo and that is the reason for the lean.

Now that's a stack! Looks to be braced as well.:beerchug:

Yeah it is braced, made it good and stiff. I wanted to get the fumes up as high as possible. No one wants to choke on black smoke.

Great pics! The stack is pretty cool!

Ataboy.. nice work....

Very nice craftsmanship:beerchug:
Also very clean, and well thought out project. |
If visibility ever becomes an issue you could always route the exhaust out under the cab.

Thanks guys!
I was going to originally go underneath with the exhaust, but the friend that I got the engine from wanted to see the thing puff a little black smoke, so I figured a stack was a must. I am really looking forward to getting this thing up and going. Snow will be here before I know it. |
