What do you have for an engine in the puller? It looks like a cool toy. |
The puller has a 20hp opposed twin briggs & stratton that I built. It is a fun toy and a joy to pull that 20hp is a beast and its still getting broke in(about 1h 30m run time last i checked). We have a class in our pulling group for opposed twins only and its a fun class cause we all have the same gears and about the same motor except mine.

Sounds COOL, love to see some pics of it.

if you look in the thread of the cub pullers I have a picture of it on there its under Post your pullers here thread on page 6. Its not the up to date photo but it gives you the idea. When I get it out I will post pictures of it, mainly cause I changed alot on it from that picture.
As far as the motor gos its the only one I know of unless somebody else built one cause briggs never made a factory 20hp horizontal in the flathead design and believe me it took some work to get the oil dipper to clear the oil pan cause the stroke is bigger, the 18hp is 42 cubic inchs and the 20hp are 46 cubic inchs which is why that motor has so much power. they are actually changing the rules for the class because of me you are going to be limited to 46cubic inchs cause the class was 20hp and under flatheads only. |
