Well I got a very late start on this thread, but I took in all 44 pages. You gentlemen have some awsome cub cadets, it's great to see all these machines on one site. I will share my 1641 with the 54" deck, and V bar chains, this tractor has the smoothest nicest looking cut of any mower I've ever seen. This is my favorite tractor currently.

My Cub 3206 that I just picked up in a trade. I normally stick old / vintage garden tractors. For the most parts this seems like a good strong GT. It does run, mow, and drive nice. I have to replace the PTO drive belts,The PTO engage bracket is cracked (the bracket the idler pulley for the PTO),I tried to move the hydraulic lift control handle and it broke off,so I gotta get in there and fix that too. For the most part I like this tractor and with the low 3xx hours I think it has a lot of life left. I might even look foe a 3 point hitch for it later.

Picked this fine machine up, late summer or early fall. The small 1641 decals were on slightly, fell off.

Sat outdoors for almost a year. Yellow paint? Heavy weight peelin' off. If the painter of the rims did the frame all would be well.

Sons (2) and grandsons (3) are all chompin' at the bit to mow 'd lawn come spring. Deck is fine but that paint again, hanger is fine but that paint again. Lower pan on the frame (PN #6) came off in three pieces, rusted to death. TSC is only minutes away, might they have the deeper yellow CCC paint?

We're not planning on a fall showing, we're plannin' for a spring mowin'! :beerchug:

I agree nice machine, it is amazing the difference the way these cubs look on AGs instead of turfs.
